2 weeks until surgery
Gosh, it's been ages. To make a long story short, my fibroids came back with a vengeance. I have six total that appear to be problematic, three considered "large" (tennis ball size each) and three medium. The three large cannot be ignored anymore. I can feel two of them and actually see one of them. I was able to trace the outline of one to get an idea of it's size (see photos below). I am having another surgery in two weeks. Unfortunately, it's much more invasive. I'll be cut open like I'm delivering. The fibroids on my uterus have grown larger than my actual uterus, so a robotic/less-invasive procedure is not possible anymore. While not ideal to have another surgery just 10-months after the first procedure, both were necessary for different reasons and helped get rid of fibroids in different areas.
